30 Years of Michael

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 (𝙣𝙤𝙩-𝙨𝙤-𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩) 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲!

The 2nd of January this year marked a remarkable milestone here at Pennyburn Credit Union – Michael’s 30th work anniversary!

Since joining us back in 1996, Michael has become much more than a colleague. He’s the backbone of our team, a familiar friendly voice for countless members and the person everyone asks for first. The number of calls we get starting with, “Is Michael about?” says it all – he’s in high demand and always willing to help.

A proud Carndonagh man, Michael is a legend behind the scenes and as many of you will know, a devoted fan of a good wheaten scone (with fresh jam, of course). In fact, some of our members bake them especially for him. Spoiled? Absolutely. Deserved? Without a doubt.

Michael is sure to have seen it all through the years going back to the days of paper ledgers to the digital age we’re in now. His knowledge, patience and kindness have left a lasting impression on our team, our members, and anyone lucky enough to cross his path. (We just hope all these compliments don’t make his head too big for the office door!)

Jokes aside…Michael, you’re one in a million. Here’s to 30 incredible years of service, friendship and countless cups of tea & scones and here’s to 30 more of them because we’re not letting you go anywhere!
