International Credit Union Day 2025

A day all about YOU, our amazing members

Last week we celebrated one of our favourite days of the year – International Credit Union Day!

It’s a day that reminds us why we exist. We exist for our members, for our community and that feeling of family and togetherness that you just don’t find anywhere else.

This day last week we had sweet cones and pick ‘n’ mixes for the kids (and a few big kids too), plenty of tea and coffee flowing and of course, the famous Doherty’s buns – because it wouldn’t be a Pennyburn celebration without them 🤣☕

Throughout the day we gave away spot prizes including dinner vouchers, coffee treats, flowers, biscuits, chocolates and a few surprise goodies just to say thank you for sticking by us year after year. It was honestly such a wholesome day full of laughs, craic and smiling faces. It was the kind of day that reminds us how lucky we are to have such a brilliant bunch of members supporting us 💛

It’s days like this that make us proud to be part of something so special.
