The annual Credit Union Art Competition 2025 is here and entries are open!
At Pennyburn Credit Union, we get so excited this time of year when the Credit Union Art Competition comes back around and we’re constantly blown away by the incredible art work you mini Picasso’s create! It’s one of Ireland’s longest-running and most successful art initiatives that takes place once a year by the credit union movement and we’re buzzing to be involved.
The theme of this years art competition is “The Future is …”
So unleash your imagination and show us your vision of the future! Open to all ages and all abilities, this year’s theme invites bold creativity and personal interpretation!
🖌️ How to Enter: Submit your artwork in A3 or A2 landscape format. You can use pencil, charcoal, ink, markers, crayon, pastel, water colours, acrylics, oils, poster colour or even collage!
Need paper? Pick up A3 sheets at our Greenhaw Road or Springtown offices.
📍 Drop-off Locations:

👶 Categories and Age Groups:
There are two categories – General Category and Additional Needs Category with the following age groups in each category:
- 7 & under
- 8–10
- 11–13
- 14–17
- 18+
🏆 Prizes: Cash awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place. Local winners advance to regional and national rounds with even bigger prizes up for grabs!
